*Nothing here is official, only my opinion. I encourage others to do their own Power Rankings too.* Shout-out to everyone who participated in S2W2 of Future Kings!

Masters Tier

  • Carnes a La Plancha (2–0) (6–0)

The only team with a perfect map count through 1/3rd of the season. La Plancha is simply a winner, if you play with him you become a winner. Zenok is consistently above average, even in a season where the overall skill of the league has risen noticeably. Rinne has improved since S1, as he has gone from trade fodder to league-leading AR. I wonder if Gunnar wears Gunnar Optics when he plays.

  • Robbery Boys (2–0) (6–2)

Xim entered the flowstate and dominated PuLse, if Xim stays this good then ROB is at worst tied for the top team in FK. ROB finding their second sub to run with Bonj allows Doyle to move into an AR role full-time. Nick is undefeated in S2 after the 3–0 and not playing in W1, therefore his presence alone is the win condition.

  • EastR (2–0) (6–2)

I wasn’t able to catch much of series vs Skyline, but of course it went to five games. Assuming they take care of business against Rockets in W3, a heavyweight matchup with Robbery Boys in W4 will be must-watch. It’ll also likely determine the top seed in Anansi going into playoffs.

Gold Tier

  • Decimation (1–1) (3–4)

JG, Bam, Los, Serg. That starting four should be as good as it gets, and could be if everyone is playing to their potential. JG and Bam carried Deci past Rockets while using two stand-ins, only dropping the SnD, which is to be expected when using two stand-ins. This team will learn their place in the league on Sunday vs ROB. A win puts them in the Masters Tier convo, but a blowout loss might foreshadow a struggle to make playoffs.

  • United Islands (1–1) (3–3)

Sells played really good. If he stays on UI’s bench then UI will not make playoffs, pretty simple. They have five players who want to, and believe they deserve to, be in the starting four. I’ll be shocked if this is the same roster going into Sunday’s match, but there’s no clear route for Brady to take to keep everyone happy. The UI fire sale will be real. BUT, if the team figures it out, they are very strong and can take a series off anyone.

Silver Tier

  • Skyline (0–2) (4–6)

They lost in five games vs the two best teams in their conference. I wouldn’t have them as the favourites going into the series with PuLse, but they aren’t underdogs either. The winner of that series will be in a good position to make playoffs and it should be treated as a must-win. Everything I write here means nothing because they will lose in G5 again, and again, and again until Shmax is bald or sells his computer.

  • I’m Victorious (1–1) (3–4)

There was a breif second where everyone watching the stream really believed Dobz was dropping a goose egg on Apocalypse. They were just overpowered by CaLP, as most teams tend to be. I still believe they are good enough to fight for the second seed in the conference.

  • Phantoms (1–1) (4–4)

Hopefully the series vs Mugiwara in W3 makes it onto the broadcast, because I’ve seen virtually nothing of Phantoms so far. They lost to IV in W1, who were manhandeled by CaLP, so the next few weeks might end with Midround’s squad outstide of the playoff picture. This Sunday’s match quickly became must-win with only four series to go.

  • PuLse (1–1) (3–4)

They were missing Valo, which is a loss doubly intensified when being filled by Apollo. For that reason, not much should be taken from being destroyed by ROB. Valo needs to come back hot, as Skyline will be going all out for the win in W3.

  • Mugiwara (1–1) (3–4)

They need to win on Sunday vs Phantoms. If they don’t, they play CaLP next and could easily end up 1–3 after four weeks. If Zoro took the draft seriously, he would have a much different and better roster.

Bronze Tier

  • Evo Risez (0–2) (2–6)

Evo are victims of a trade bamboozle which sent Nick, a reliable AR, to ROB for a guy who left the server days later. Fortunately, there’s solid stand-ins available like CoriousNP and Slim, who should be strongly considered by Nightmares as a replacement. The road back to the finals started out slow, and the next stop is CaLP, the best team in the league. If they start 0–3, I don’t see Evo rising in the standings.

  • Rockets (0–2) (2–6)

Missing Prox for the series against Decimation will prove to be more consequential than just a tick in the loss column. That was likely their best opportunity to get a win. They will need to win at least one series vs Skyline, EastR, and ROB to have a shot at making playoffs. If Rockets lose to EastR on Sunday, they will need to run the table.
