*Nothing here is official, only my opinion. I encourage others to do their own Power Rankings too.* Shout-out to everyone who participated in Week Three of the first season of Future Kings!

Master Tier

  • Carnes A La Plancha (3–0) (9–1)

It seems like the CaLPers will have to wait until the FK Winter Cup to face some equal competition. All four starters would be top players on every other squad, as we see Cizyrs improve each week. La Plancha is a top three player in the league easy, and Zenok and John are so sick. The slight roster shake up of Nano going to the Popes shouldn’t really effect anything, especially since CaLP was able to fill the slot with the best available FA in Kronix.

Platinum Tier

  • Robbery Boys (2–1) (7–5)

Bonj is putting up pretty crazy numbers lately, especially in SnD, which is giving ROB a needed boost in that mode. The Boys were slaying in respawns, but they had a rough time deciding who was going to be the hill bitch and that may have cost them a map. I expect O’Doyle will remind them that HP is first to 250 time in hill and not 250 kills.

Gold Tier

  • Nukes (2–1) (6–5)

Nukelit’s Nicks are undefeated when the BO4 Saug-God Team of the Week Superstar Ceej is in the lineup. I didn’t see the series because it was off-stream, but I really believe this team will finish top four going into Playoffs. Their roster 1–4 is as good as anyone besides CaLP, with Melloh being nasty and Asylum filling in any holes. Their next series against the new-look Popes will really let us see where the Nukes are at overall.

  • Evo Risez (2–1) (6–5)

The series last Sunday did not live up to the hype unless you’re a CaLP fan. It was the battle for first in the standings, but it did not mean the loser gets second. The 3–0 dropped Evo down to fourth for the time being and created another high stakes series vs Warriors this week. This squad has the talent to be top tier, but if Zoro isn’t having his best series I think they become more average than exceptional. Evo needs a big win on Sunday over the current two seed to prove they belong at the top.

  • Warriors (2–1) (8–5)

The Dobz-led team disbanded the first edition of the Popes with a 3–0 in Week Three. The reason why they are second in the standings but fifth on my PR is because they had the easiest schedule in the league so far. They have only played losing-record teams. With that being said, they could easily be 3–0 and have looked really strong lately. I’ll need to see it one more time to believe this team is legit, and Week Four’s series will be a great test.

Bronze Tier

  • Skyline (0–2) (6–9)

Shmax’s lads are ranked above a team with a win, while they have zero, becasue they went to G5 three times in a row. With CaLP up next, forcing a G5 is something no team was able to do against the current one seed, so that should be thier goal going into the series. Shmax has made it clear that this is his squad ride or die but I think they are lacking a bit of overall gunskill compared to the competition. Hopefully Blitz can change that.

  • Popes (0–3) (2–9)

Preston has only won one map so far in Future Kings, but his team was gifted CaLP’s bench player Nano Pex. This will upgrade the Popes roster overall and create a big three of PJ, Deific, and Nano. Solar moving down into the fourth starter slot will let him do his weird stuff on the map without it punishing his team, as long as he picks up some OBJ time. Nukes should not sleep on this roster for the Week Four match.

  • United Islands (1–2) (3–8)

UI has not won a map with two or more team members playing in a series. Hydro was able to carry the stand-ins to a Week One win, and no one would’ve guessed that would be their highlight of the season nearing the halfway point. Maybe they are sandbagging for Playoffs, but finishing in the top four to secure Winners Bracket should definitely be motivation for UI to step it up.

Week 4 Predictions

  • Nukes 3–2 Popes
  • Evo Risez 3–2 Warriors
  • Robbery Boys 3–1 United Islands
  • Carnes a LP 3–0 Skyline

Trade Machine

*These are based on gameplay and roles only, not on chemisty. I have no intel that any of these will happen.*

  • CaLP send Kronix to UI for Sphinx. Kronix could help UI, and Sphinx hasn’t played yet so it would not effect CaLP who always have their starters show up.
  • Warriors trade Snapza to a better league becuase FK isn’t good enough for his Holiness.
  • Skyline and UI swap Mist and Edessa. Both teams could use a small mix up to get on track.
  • Popes send Deific and Furmayne to Warriors for Dobz and Snapza. Deific is nasty but sometimes you need a change of scenery.
